I have so many pics that I could of scrapped with this, it was hard to choose!! I decided to do a two pager and will be using this kit again soon for all the beach pictures I have. First off I would like to say sorry for being MIA, I haven't been designing or scrapping the last couple of month because there has been lots going on personally. =D I just wanted to pop in and let you know the update for the Hartman family adoption (Hartman Family Blog) which the designers at STS teamed up to support with BRADY . So the great news is that the Hartman's are currently awaiting travel dates (which is the last step before they can go get their little guy!!!) So to celebrate and to help contribute to the last bit of funds they need to fly to Eastern Europe....I've put my entire store on sale for 50% off!!! So not only will the sales from BRADY but everything else that is purchased will go straight to their adoption fund. This weeks release is super special to me!! This kit is not just any ordinary kit; it is for an amazing cause and an amazing little guy that needs a family, a home, and someone to love and care for him. Our good friends, the Hartman family, are in the process of adopting the sweet boy below. They feel called to rescue this little boy "Brady" from a mental institution in Eastern Europe. Because he has Downs Syndrome, Brady was abandoned at birth, just like the majority of children with any sort of disabilities in Eastern Europe and other parts of the world. lt is standard procedure when these children turn between 4-6 years old (depending on region) that they are transferred from Orphanages to full blown Mental Institutions. This transfer is very traumatic, and many times these children suffer and sometimes die due to the conditions. Brady has already been transferred and The Hartmans are trying to get to him as quickly as possible. So I told this sweet family that I would ask the girls at "Stuff to Scrap" to Help!! The cost of this adoption is well between $20,000- $30,000 and so we just want to be able to contribute a little toward that huge amount. The amazing designers at "Stuff to Scrap" have put together an awesome collaboration that can be used to donate to this great cause. All proceeds from the sell of *Brady* goes directly to the Hartman's adoption fund.

Speed Scrap Tonight-New Scrappers Encouraged!

Just a reminder that tonight is a speed scrap hosted by Scrapalicious Cereal. This will be an easy newbie Speed Scrap so it is a great place for you to ask lots of questions on how things work. She has tried to keep the steps simple. The skills you will need will include how to duplicate and resize items and how to layer one thing behind another.

In case you are wondering how speed scraps work...

Starting at the top of the hour, she will post your first instruction, followed by 1 more instruction every ten minutes through the hour. The instructions will be posted in the forum and in the chat room. If for some reason you aren't getting the instructions in the chat room or you need to review the steps, come check the forum. The instructions will all be added to the original post in this thread so hit refresh if you are using the forums to get the latest instructions.

At the top of the second hour she will post the last instruction and then you'll have 1 additional hour to finish and post your LOs.

The instructions/steps are all pretty self-explanatory, but also remember that you can interpret them creatively.

Stuff to Scrap products are not required, but of course, we love it when you use them!!

Prizes are only awarded if you post your layout in the forum and gallery before the time is up.

You will receive your prize via your Stuff to Scrap private message box. This is the prize participants will receive tomorrow morning:

Hey Followers!!

I know its been awhile since I posted but we've been really busy around here. We just recently moved into a bigger home.... good thing because we just found out last week that we are expecting # 5!!! We are super excited but I just wish I didn't have to deal with morning sickness (or should I say ALL DAY sickness), yuck!! =D I just have to pray and ask the Lord to help me coupe because He only gives us what we can handle, right?? but sometime I don't think I can handle this, hehe! So if you are asking yourself...its almost Christmas and you're just now releasing your Christmas kit?? Well this was suppose to be out early December but I haven't really wanted to design as much as I usually do with all that is happening around here. So to go ahead and make it up to you. Hi All!! For those of you who are here for the first time from the Blog Train.....WELCOME!! First I want to show you my latest release.....Harvest Chill. I just love fall....it is for sure my favorite season. It's just amazing to see God's hand in the beauty of everything. In Washington the fall weather is just starting to come which is so rare for us. Ususally it has already been raining here and there for the whole month of October, but we have bearly seen any rain. This beautiful kit inspired by Rainamoon scraps with STS Designer Darling contributions is both Elegant and Fun, Vibrant and Beautiful just like the woman it was made to honor. Eva Markvoort was the subject of a documentary called 65 Red Roses which chronicaled her battle with her genetic disease, Cystic Fibrosis. Eva loved the color red and was well known for wearing the vibrant shade in her hair. Every cent of the proceeds from this kit goes to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to keep fighting to find a cure. Click the preview to head to the store and help out this great cause.

Well hello there!! With St. Patrick's Day done and over it sure does seem like April is right around the corner....I bet y'all are thinking to yourselves that you can't believe it is almost April. Don't we all say that every month, it sure feels like it. Time sure does fly when you get older, huh?? It does seems like its been forever since I've had a freebie kit. So I wanted to give you something special to honor April Fools Day. Ok so I'm not a huge fan at all of AFD, but it gave me a good excuse for a kit....an you're probably happy about that!! :) I don't know I've just never been a fan of practical jokes, maybe because I'm to nice or maybe just think that they're a waste of time, lol!!
